Sidney’s (formally known as Windows) welcomes you to a whole new experience of fine dining at Legacy Lodge. Our master chefs have created delicious appetizers, entrees, and deserts using the finest ingredients from local and family owned farms from around the South. While crafting each farm to table recipe the culinary team focused on harvesting the natural flavor of each cuisine.

Sidney’s menu is nothing less than inspired and will be transformed with each season. Appetizer choices begin with our Georgia white shrimp with Tabasco cheddar grits. If you are looking for another delicious seafood option, we have crab cakes with roasted garlic bruschetta. You surely will enjoy a touch of the south with fried green tomatoes, warm goat cheese within each layer and Vidalia peach chutney or choose the artistic designed artisan meats and cheese platter with hand-produced sausage and cheeses served with house pickled veggies.

Salad choices are both delicious and refreshing with a mixed local greens tossed with thin beans, grape tomato, Bermuda onion, toasted corn nuts and drizzled with a delightful strawberry white balsamic vinaigrette. The grilled baby romaine salad with shaved country ham, herbed goat cheese, oven roasted tomato, red onions and topped with mustard vinaigrette. Our signature salad, Sidney’s BLT, will take you back to those summer days, with shaved iceberg and arugula, white cheddar hoop cheese vine ripe tomatoes and served with roasted garlic buttermilk herb dressing.

Savory entrées are prepared to your taste, with Georgia mountain trout, pan fried with  delicious smoked gouda mac and cheese. The twenty-four hour buttermilk soaked fried natural chicken breast is sure to delight with white cheddar mashed potatoes and smoked, tomato peach ketchup. Our slow braised Lamb shank features notes of coffee and red zinfandel paired with wild rice and dried cherry risotto. The duroc pork chop, cider brined and char grilled, is coupled with a delicious spiced pecan sweet potato souffle’ covered in apple pan gravy.  The menu also features a strip steak with roasted corn mashed potatoes, Henry bain sauce topped with country ham wrapped asparagus, as well as a tender filet with cheddar mashed potatoes, local mushroom ragout and flash fried spinach.

Enjoy a taste of heaven to finish off this divine dinner with our strawberry shortcake, which features a traditional brown sugar biscuit, macerated strawberries, vanilla bourbon, Chantilly buttermilk ice cream.  The S’mores crème brûlée, sure to be our signature dessert, is comprised of a baked custard with honey grahams and chocolate morsels and maple charred marshmallows. Further delight your taste buds with a piece of vanilla bean cheesecake layered with toasted pecan graham crust, chocolate garnish with stewed blueberry coulis. We also offer a flourless chocolate torte garnished with raspberry ganache and cappuccino foam.
