Are you mad for a good merlot? Have a penchant for a fine pinot grigio? Wish you were cozying up to a great cabernet? Want to know what’s even better than a lovely glass of wine? A lovely glass of wine enjoyed aboard an 85-foot excursion yacht on Lake Lanier! Lanier Islands is proud to launch a new season of our ever-popular Legacy Cruise Series. Once a month through October 2017, wine lovers can set sail from Harbor Landing aboard the elegant Island Princess at 2 p.m. for a three-hour excursion around the expansive 38,000 surface acre lake. During the ride, guests will enjoy wine pairings with chef-prepared tapas blended with stunning views of the water and live entertainment. Experts will be on hand to discuss the various wines, which will be for sale once the yacht returns to dock at 5 p.m. To mark the end of the series, we toss in a Cigar & Scotch Cruise showcasing cigars from all over the world paired with a variety of regional and exotic scotches and whiskeys. We’ll raise the anchor and man the ship while you raise a glass and relax.
